Papyrus: Sad News about the Closure of a Vital Helpline Service

You might have heard the sad news that Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide and HopeLine24/7 have closed down.

If you relied on them or are feeling worried about where to turn now, we understand. It’s totally normal to feel unsettled, but please remember you are not alone.

Meic is here, but if you need urgent crisis support, are in severe distress, or thinking about ending your life, these are places you can turn to and are available free 24/7:

We’re a friendly, confidential space to chat through anything that’s on your mind – school stress, feeling low, relationships, or just needing to vent. We can offer information, advice and advocacy to help you move forward.
